Friends of Hayle Pilot Gig Club
What is a Friend of Hayle?
Being a Friend of Hayle is a way to support the continued running of the club, independent of whether or not a person is a member of the club. It is a way for local people and businesses to support their local community.
Why should I become a friend of HPGC?
As a local charity, we are a not-for-profit organisation and our ability to keep on running as a club is entirely dependent on the club membership subscriptions, any grants we are awarded and our fundraising.
All monies received from Friends of Hayle will go into the continued running of the club and we will provide regular updates on what is being spent and why. Recent projects have included new steel trolleys for transporting our training gig boats and new oars for the juniors.
All Friends of Hayle, unless they would prefer to be anonymous, will be recognised by the club on its website and periodically on its social media.
How do I become a Friend of Hayle (or ‘FOH’)?
Becoming a FOH is very easy.
Firstly, you can donate to the club by making a bank transfer using the following bank details, with the reference ‘FOH’. There is no minimum payment. A person becomes a FOH for 12 months from the date of their last donation.
